So, I started to explore my options. What I really wanted was to start my own business. But what should that business be? It was clear that the Internet was becoming big, and I wanted to be a part of this dynamic and exciting environment.

I had some other dreams, too.

I wanted to live up in this little mountain town in Colorado. For some time I had admired this town that sat in a beautiful valley surrounded by some of Colorado's most magnificent mountains. The people there were friendly. There was one stop light in the whole town. You could drive anywhere in 10 minutes. Deer roamed the neighborhoods. It was a virtual storybook town.

But … there was one problem.

There were no jobs in my storybook town..

Well, what the heck. If I was going to start my life over with a new career, I might as well do it where I wanted to live. So I just moved there. I had no job, but I did have the seed of an idea on how I could use the Internet to build my own business there.
